25 LC 48 1361 House Bill 57 By: Representatives Cameron of the 1st, Jones of the 47th, Camp of the 135th, Mathiak of the 82nd, Hagan of the 156th, and others A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT To amend Code Section 16-6-22 of the Official Code of Georgia A nnotated, relating to1 incest, so as to include step-grandparent and step-grandchild r elationship; to provide for2 related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.3 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:4 SECTION 1.5 Code Section 16-6-22 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to incest, is6 amended by revising paragraph (4) of subsection (a) as follows:7 "(4) Grandparent and grandchild of the whole blood or of the ha lf blood or8 step-grandparent and step-grandchild;"9 SECTION 2.10 All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.11 H.
