25 LC 33 9761 House Bill 72 By: Representatives Burns of the 159th, Jones of the 47th, Efstration of the 104th, and Hatchett of the 155th A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT To make and provide appropriations for the State Fiscal Year be ginning July 1, 2025, and1 ending June 30, 2026; to make and provide such appropriations for the operation of the state2 government and its departments, boards, bureaus, commissions, i nstitutions, and other3 agencies, for the university system, common schools, counties, municipalities, and political4 subdivisions, for all other governmental activities, projects, and undertakings authorized by5 law, and for all leases, contracts, agreements, and grants auth orized by law; to provide for6 the control and administration of funds; to provide an effectiv e date; to repeal conflicting7 laws; and for other purposes.8 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:9 PART I10 The sums of money hereinafter provided are appropriated for the State Fiscal Year beginning11 July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2026, as prescribed hereinafter for such fiscal year.12 PART II13 This Act shall become effective upon its approval by the Governor or upon its becoming law14 without such approval.15 H.
