25 LC 129 0036 Senate Resolution 29 By: Senator Tillery of the 19th A RESOLUTION Commending Coach Jeremy Moore; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Coach Jeremy Moore has long been recognized by his peers, colleagues, and2 athletes as a remarkable leader and an integral part of Toombs County High School's athletic3 success; and4 WHEREAS, his exceptional guidance led the Toombs County boys soccer team to its first5 ever state championship title in the 2023 season; and6 WHEREAS, Coach Moore dedicates countless hours to ensuring the successful futures of7 his athletes, and his unwavering commitment to his students makes him an outstanding role8 model both on and off the field; and9 WHEREAS, through his leadership, Coach Moore has fostered an en vironment of10 excellence, teamwork, and dedication that has contributed to both the personal and athletic11 growth of the young men on his team; and12 WHEREAS, he has received numerous honors for his coaching excellence, including being13 named the 2023 Georgia Athletic Coaches Association Division 2A Coach of the Year; and14 S. R. 29 - 1 - 25 LC 129 0036 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this outstand ing individual be15 appropriately honored.16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body17 commend Coach Jeremy Moore for his dedicated and selfless service to the youth of Toombs18 County and extend their most sincere best wishes for continued health and happiness. 19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed20 to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for di stribution to Coach Jeremy21 Moore.22 S.
