26 HB 117/AP House Bill 117 (AS PASSED HOUSE AND SENATE) By: Representatives Petrea of the 166 th, Williams of the 168 th, Townsend of the 179 th, DeLoach of the 167th, and Franklin of the 160th A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT To amend Article 13 of Chapter 2 of Title 26 of the Official Co de of Georgia Annotated,1 relating to food service establishments, so as to require notif ication of foreign imported2 shrimp; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.3 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:4 SECTION 1.5 Article 13 of Chapter 2 of Title 26 of the Official Code of Geo rgia Annotated, relating to6 food service establishments, is amended by adding a new Code section to read as follows:7 "26-2-378.1.8 All food service establishments in this state that serve foreig n imported shrimp shall9 conspicuously display on their menus a disclosure by each menu item containing shrimp10 stating 'FOREIGN IMPORTED,' or on placards visible to the publi c 'FOREIGN11 IMPORTED SHRIMP.' This Code section shall not apply to a food service establishment12 operated by a state agency, as such term is defined in Code Section 48-8-14."13 SECTION 2.14 All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.15 H.
