A RESOLUTION
Recognizing May 15, 2025, as United Nations International Day for Families in the State of1
Georgia; and for other purposes.2
WHEREAS, the United Nations General Assembly established the In ternational Day for3
Families in 1993 through Resolution A/RES/47/237 to promote awareness of issues related4
to families and enhance understanding of the social, economic, and demographic processes5
affecting families globally; and6
WHEREAS, families are fundamental units of society essential to the development and7
well-being of individuals and communities, and their strength a nd stability contribute to8
sustainable development, societal harmony, and generational progress; and9
WHEREAS, the United Nations International Day for Families highlights annual themes that10
address critical aspects of family dynamics, including health, education, equality, work-life11
balance, and sustainable development, and serves as a call to a ction for governments,12
organizations, and communities to support families in their diverse forms; and13
WHEREAS, Dr. Jacqueline Mohair, founder of Trinity Girls Networ k Corp., Trinity14
International University of Ambassadors (TIUA), Trinity International Chaplaincy Institute,15

and TIUA School of Business, has exemplified visionary leadersh ip in promoting the16
importance of families through faith, education, and economic empowerment; and17
WHEREAS, Trinity Girls Network Corp., a non-governmental organi zation with18
Consultative Status from the United Nations Economic and Social Council, along with its19
affiliated organizations, celebrates the International Day for Families with a special20
observance in the State of Georgia on May 14, fostering awarene ss of the significance of21
family unity, faith, and legacy building; and22
WHEREAS, the observance highlights the principle that "a family that prays together stays23
together" while emphasizing that families who create wealth together build strong legacies24
for generations to come, empowering future leaders and strength ening the social fabric of25
communities; and26
WHEREAS, through initiatives such as The Family Business, these organizations underscore27
the vital role of families in entrepreneurship, economic empowe rment, and the creation of28
sustainable legacies, inspiring families to work collaboratively to achieve financial stability29
and generational success; and30
WHEREAS, TIUA, in partnership with The Family Business initiati ve, hosts an annual31
Family Day Celebration at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, underscoring the32
essential role of family legacy and entrepreneurship in fosteri ng a sustainable future; this33
event aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, empowering families34
to drive global progress through innovation, leadership, and faith.35
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that36
the members of this body recognize May 15, 2025, as United Nations International Day for37

Families in the State of Georgia and commend the work of Dr. Jacqueline Mohair, Trinity38
Girls Network Corp., and their affiliated organizations for their dedication to strengthening39
families, promoting economic empowerment, and fostering generational legacies.40
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the members of this body encourage all citizens of41
Georgia to join in this observance by reflecting on the signifi cance of family in their lives42
and communities as well as participating in acts of worship, pr ayer, thanksgiving, and43
educational engagement to strengthen the bonds of family and society.44
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized45
and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution avai lable for distribution to Dr.46
Jacqueline Mohair, Trinity Girls Network Corp., and the United Nations.47
