25 LC 112 2756 House Resolution 88 By: Representatives Martin of the 49th, Jones of the 47th, Hilton of the 48th, Silcox of the 53rd, and Jones of the 25th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce; and for1 other purposes.2 WHEREAS, North Fulton is a diverse and thriving region boasting six unique cities; nearly3 400,000 residents; six Fortune 500 companies; a highly educated workforce and talent base;4 top-tier public and private educational institutions; world-cla ss healthcare; nationally5 acclaimed outdoor parkland, trails, and green space; a vibrant arts, culture, and entertainment6 scene; and a quality of life that is second to none; and7 WHEREAS, for over five decades, the Greater North Fulton Chambe r of Commerce has8 served as a catalyst for the region's growth, connectivity, inn ovation, transformation, and9 economic vitality by serving as the voice and champion of business in North Fulton; and10 WHEREAS, the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce is a 5-St ar Accredited11 Chamber, and as the only regional chamber in North Fulton comprising six distinct cities, it12 is uniquely positioned to bring industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and experts from surrounding13 communities together, fostering innovation and collaboration; and14 H. R. 88 - 1 - 25 LC 112 2756 WHEREAS, the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce's over five decades of success15 began in 1973 with a small group of local business leaders who, 20 years before GA-400 was16 built, envisioned the potential for the region and invested in their community to ensure its17 growth and prosperity; and18 WHEREAS, the mission of the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Com merce is to grow19 business, develop talent, and lead regional prosperity across North Fulton; and20 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the Greater N orth Fulton Chamber of21 Commerce receive the recognition of this body.22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that23 the members of this body recognize and commend the Greater Nort h Fulton Chamber of24 Commerce and extend best wishes for continued success.25 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized26 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the27 Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce.28 H.
