25 LC 129 0047 House Resolution 76 By: Representatives Smith of the 138th and Rice of the 139th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Joey Gibbs; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, a senior at Harris County High School, Joey Gibbs has competed in the2 SkillsUSA plumbing competition for four years and has consistently placed in the top 10 at3 nationals each year; and4 WHEREAS, as testament to his natural ability and remarkable proficiency in the trade, Joey 5 won his first competition at just 14 years old and placed first in two out of his last three state6 competitions; and7 WHEREAS, his exemplary work with SkillsUSA has earned him sever al job offers8 throughout the State of Georgia; and 9 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the achievements of the young man be10 appropriately recognized.11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that12 the members of this body recognize and commend Joey Gibbs for h is dedication to the13 plumbing trade and extend sincere best wishes for future success.14 H.
