25 LC 112 2723 House Resolution 104 By: Representatives Donatucci of the 105th, Efstration of the 104th, and Martinez of the 111th A RESOLUTION Congratulating the Hebron Christian Academy football team for w inning the 2024 GHSA1 Class Private A-3A State Football Championship; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, the Hebron Christian Academy football team has established and maintained3 a proud tradition of excellence with equal emphases on character and academics; and4 WHEREAS, this superlative team has completed a triumphant season of football competition5 by posting an outstanding record of 12 wins and only two losses; and6 WHEREAS, excellent play, superior teamwork, and extraordinary resilience made this team7 a spectacular one to observe throughout the season, and as a fitting finale to its remarkable8 2024 campaign, the team captured its first state football championship; and9 WHEREAS, the team brought special recognition to its school by winning the 2024 GHSA10 Class Private A-3A State Football Championship against Prince A venue Christian School11 with a final score of 56-28; and12 WHEREAS, the phenomenal performance of the team is a clear indication of the outstanding13 athletic ability, dedication, hard work, and unity of purpose and spirit of each member of the14 H. R. 104 - 1 - 25 LC 112 2723 team; its superb offensive and defensive talents; and the astut e direction of Head Coach15 Jonathan Gess; and16 WHEREAS, as this magnificent team earned its well-deserved reputation for excellence by17 performing with courage and precision over months of training a nd competition, it is18 abundantly proper to call them champions.19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that20 the members of this body congratulate the Hebron Christian Acad emy football team for21 winning the 2024 GHSA Class Private A-3A State Football Championship and extend best22 wishes for their continued success.23 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized24 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the25 Hebron Christian Academy football team.26 H.
