25 LC 129 0105 Senate Resolution 122 By: Senators Strickland of the 42nd, Albers of the 56th, Hatchett of the 50th, Kirkpatrick of the 32nd and Cowsert of the 46th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Emergency Manager Marc Vincent; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, on January 28, 2025, Emergency Manager Marc Vincent re ceived a Public2 Safety Commendation from the Georgia World Congress Center Auth ority's (GWCCA)3 Department of Public Safety; and4 WHEREAS, this accolade reflects his exceptional leadership during the recent emergency5 responses to severe winter weather that coincided with major ev ents on the GWCCA6 campus; and7 WHEREAS, his ability to coordinate resources and make timely critical decisions ensured8 the safety and well-being of GWCCA's employees and campus attendees; and9 WHEREAS, his professionalism, quick thinking, and commitment to excellence have truly10 made a profound impact on GWCCA's campus; and11 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this12 remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately honored.13 S.
