25 LC 112 2877 House Resolution 186 By: Representatives Reese of the 140th, Hugley of the 141st, Glaize of the 67th, Crawford of the 89th, and Olaleye of the 59th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending the Urban League of Greater Atlanta Young Professionals and1 the Urban League of the River Valley Young Professionals; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, the Urban League of Greater Atlanta Young Professionals (ULGA-YP) is an3 organization dedicated to empowering young professionals in the metro Atlanta area,4 fostering leadership development, and advocating for social and economic equality; and5 WHEREAS, the Urban League of the River Valley Young Professiona ls (ULRV-YP) is6 dedicated to serving the young professionals working in the River Valley region; and7 WHEREAS, this year, the Columbus Chapter of the ULRV-YP is cele brating its 10th8 anniversary; and9 WHEREAS, the ULGA-YP and ULRV-YP have consistently demonstrated a commitment10 to community service, education, and civic engagement, thereby contributing to the11 betterment of this state; and12 H. R. 186 - 1 - 25 LC 112 2877 WHEREAS, the ULGA-YP and ULRV-YP have played pivotal roles in addressing pressing13 issues such as education, workforce development, and social jus tice, working towards14 creating a more equitable and inclusive society.15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that16 the members of this body recognize and commend the Urban League of Greater Atlanta17 Young Professionals and the Urban League of the River Valley Young Professionals for their18 unwavering dedication to community service, leadership developm ent, and advocacy for19 social and economic equality.20 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the members of this body express their gratitude to the21 Urban League of Greater Atlanta Young Professionals and the Urb an League of the River22 Valley Young Professionals for their ongoing efforts to improve the lives of young23 professionals and underserved communities in this state.24 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the members of this body extend bes t wishes for25 continued success to the Urban League of Greater Atlanta Young Professionals and the26 Urban League of the River Valley Young Professionals in all their future endeavors.27 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized28 and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution avai lable for distribution to the29 Urban League of Greater Atlanta Young Professionals and the Urb an League of the River30 Valley Young Professionals.31 H.
