25 LC 129 0111 House Resolution 185 By: Representatives Adeyina of the 110 th, Bennett of the 94 th, Kendrick of the 95 th, and Campbell of the 35th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Alisa Anderson; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Alisa Anderson currently serves as the founder and exe cutive director of2 Women's Resources Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to aiding women and3 low-income families by addressing their immediate needs and equipping them with the tools4 necessary to achieve their educational, financial, career, and spiritual goals; and5 WHEREAS, under her leadership, Women's Resources Inc. has serve d over 80 families,6 provided meals to more than 3,600 individuals annually, empower ed 24 entrepreneurs7 through training and mentorship, conducted extensive street outreach, and offered life skills8 coaching and professional development programs; and9 WHEREAS, a graduate of DeVry University, Alisa's academic foundation and passion for10 service have been instrumental in shaping the impactful program s of Women's Resources11 Inc.; and12 WHEREAS, through strategic partnerships with numerous nonprofit organizations, Alisa has13 greatly expanded the reach and impact of Women's Resources Inc. , strengthening14 communities and transforming lives through collaborative efforts; and15 H. R. 185 - 1 - 25 LC 129 0111 WHEREAS, Alisa has served as a beacon of hope in her community by using her personal16 journey to inspire and uplift others, providing compassionate leadership and a faith-driven17 approach that helps women embrace purposeful and fulfilling lives; and18 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this remarkab le individual be19 appropriately honored for her unwavering commitment to resilience, faith, and service.20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that21 the members of this body recognize and commend Alisa Anderson for her many outstanding22 contributions on behalf of her fellow citizens as well as exten d best wishes for continued23 success.24 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized25 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Alisa26 Anderson.27 H.
