25 LC 47 3232 House Bill 299 By: Representatives Taylor of the 92nd, Frye of the 122nd, Davis of the 87th, Scott of the 76th, Schofield of the 63rd, and others A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT To amend Article 1 of Chapter 7 of Title 44 of the Official Cod e of Georgia Annotated,1 regarding landlord and tenant in general, so as to repeal Code Section 44-7-19, relating to2 restrictions on rent regulation by local governments; to provide for related matters; to repeal3 conflicting laws; and for other purposes.4 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:5 SECTION 1.6 Article 1 of Chapter 7 of Title 44 of the Official Code of Geor gia Annotated, regarding7 landlord and tenant in general, is amended by repealing Code Se ction 44-7-19, relating to8 restrictions on rent regulation by local governments, and desig nating said Code section as9 reserved.10 SECTION 2.11 All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.12 H.
