25 LC 50 1036 Senate Bill 106 By: Senators James of the 28th, Jones II of the 22nd, Rahman of the 5th, Kemp of the 38th, Esteves of the 35th and others A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT To amend Article 1 of Chapter 7 of Title 44 of the Official Cod e of Georgia Annotated,1 relating to landlord and tenant in general, so as to repeal Code Section 44-7-19, relating to2 restrictions on rent regulation by local governments; to provide for related matters; to repeal3 conflicting laws; and for other purposes.4 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:5 SECTION 1.6 Article 1 of Chapter 7 of Title 44 of the Official Code of Geor gia Annotated, relating to7 landlord and tenant in general, is amended by repealing Code Se ction 44-7-19, relating to8 restrictions on rent regulation by local governments, and desig nating said Code section as9 reserved.10 SECTION 2.11 All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.12 S.
