25 LC 112 2898 House Resolution 232 By: Representative Corbett of the 174th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Linda Henderson on her outstanding public service; and for1 other purposes.2 WHEREAS, Linda Henderson has diligently and conscientiously devoted innumerable hours3 of her time, talents, and energy toward the betterment of her c ommunity and state, as4 evidenced dramatically by her 50 years of superlative service to the City of Hoboken; and5 WHEREAS, during her exemplary tenure, she has earned numerous honors in recognition6 of her dedicated service, including the 2008 Citizen of the Yea r award from the Brantley7 County Chamber of Commerce, the 2006 Angel Award from the Southeast Cancer Unit, and8 the 2008 SEC Appreciation Award; and9 WHEREAS, this distinguished gentlewoman has given inspiration to many through her high10 ideals, morals, and deep concern for her fellow citizens, and she possesses the vast wisdom11 which only comes through experience and the strength of charact er which is achieved12 through overcoming the many challenges of life; and13 WHEREAS, she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for14 integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and15 H. R. 232 - 1 - 25 LC 112 2898 WHEREAS, Linda Henderson has served with honor and distinction, and her vision and16 unyielding commitment to excellence have set the standard for public service; and17 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this18 remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that20 the members of this body recognize and commend Linda Henderson for her efficient,21 effective, unselfish, and dedicated public service as well as e xtend the most sincere best22 wishes for continued health and happiness.23 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized24 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Linda25 Henderson.26 H.
