25 LC 46 1081 House Bill 444 By: Representatives Silcox of the 53rd, Gaines of the 120th, Jones of the 47th, Reeves of the 99th, and Hilton of the 48th A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT To amend Chapter 4 of Title 1 of the Official Code of Georgia A nnotated, relating to1 holidays and observances, so as to designate April of each year as Georgia Native Plant2 Month; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.3 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:4 SECTION 1.5 Chapter 4 of Title 1 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to holidays and6 observances, is amended by adding a new Code section to read as follows:7 "1-4-27.8 The month of April of each year is designated as 'Georgia Native Plant Month' in Georgia."9 SECTION 2.10 All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.11 H.
