25 LC 129 0062 House Resolution 286 By: Representatives Martin of the 49 th, Washburn of the 144 th, Rhodes of the 124 th, and Blackmon of the 146th A RESOLUTION Congratulating and commending Mr. Sharoko Farley; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Mr. Sharoko Farley has been selected as the state reci pient of the Technical2 College System of Georgia's 2024 Rick Perkins Award for Excelle nce in Technical3 Instruction; and4 WHEREAS, with this award, Mr. Farley has earned the distinction as the Technical College5 System of Georgia's Instructor of the Year; and6 WHEREAS, Mr. Farley, an instructor for the commercial truck driving program at Central7 Georgia Technical College, has exemplified excellence in instru ctional knowledge and8 practices; and9 WHEREAS, in recognition of such, Mr. Farley was selected from an elite group of Georgia10 technical college instructors who have each demonstrated innovative teaching practices and11 exceptional leadership skills at their respective technical colleges; and12 H. R. 286 - 1 - 25 LC 129 0062 WHEREAS, through his dedication and professionalism, Mr. Farley has brought honor to13 himself, his family, Central Georgia Technical College, and the entire Technical College14 System of Georgia.15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that16 the members of this body congratulate and commend Mr. Sharoko Farley for his outstanding17 achievements and his efforts to promote technical education in Georgia as well as extend best18 wishes for continued success.19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized20 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Mr.21 Sharoko Farley.22 H.
