25 LC 112 3009 House Resolution 296 By: Representative Kendrick of the 95th A RESOLUTION Commending Patience Babajide; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, the second annual Tech Demo Day at the state capitol will be held March 13,2 2025, hosted by Representative Dar'shun Kendrick; and3 WHEREAS, this exciting event will both celebrate Women's History Month and highlight4 leaders from across the State of Georgia under the theme "Women In Artificial Intelligence";5 and6 WHEREAS, Patience Babajide is an accomplished attorney with ove r a decade of legal7 experience who currently serves as senior corporate counsel at a global talent assessment and8 workforce solutions company, where she advises on high-stakes business transactions and9 compliance matters; and10 WHEREAS, as the founder of Law Rooted LLC, she has dedicated innumerable hours of her11 time and energy toward assisting individuals and businesses in navigating complex legal12 frameworks with a focus on estate planning and business transactions; and13 H. R. 296 - 1 - 25 LC 112 3009 WHEREAS, she further serves as the co-founder of Midly, a SaaS company that integrates14 contract lifecycle management, customer relationship management , and document review15 tools into a single streamlined platform; and16 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this outstand ing participant be17 appropriately honored for using her passion and creativity to m ake our state a better place18 in which to live and work.19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that20 the members of this body commend Patience Babajide for her many remarkable career21 accomplishments as well as extend the most sincere gratitude fo r her dedicated efforts on22 behalf of the citizens of this state and beyond.23 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized24 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to25 Patience Babajide.26 H.
