25 LC 112 3006 House Resolution 299 By: Representative Kendrick of the 95th A RESOLUTION Commending Evan Marie Carr; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, the second annual Tech Demo Day at the state capitol will be held March 13,2 2025, hosted by Representative Dar'shun Kendrick; and3 WHEREAS, this exciting event will both celebrate Women's History Month and highlight4 leaders from across the State of Georgia under the theme "Women In Artificial Intelligence";5 and6 WHEREAS, Evan Marie Carr is a pioneering force in AI innovation and educational7 technology who currently serves as the female co-founder of Dar kViolet.ai, a majority8 woman-owned artificial intelligence company dedicated to advanc ing AI-driven learning9 solutions; and10 WHEREAS, with over two decades of experience in the industry, s h e h a s l e d t h e11 development of Learn with Lumi, a groundbreaking educational platform that exemplifies12 her commitment to creating sophisticated yet human-centered AI solutions that enhance13 accessibility and personalized learning for all students; and14 H. R. 299 - 1 - 25 LC 112 3006 WHEREAS, Evan Marie Carr blends technical expertise with deep e ducational insight,15 driving innovation in AI-powered education and setting new standards for how technology16 can transform learning while preserving the essential human elements that make education17 meaningful; and18 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this outstand ing participant be19 appropriately honored for using her passion and creativity to m ake our state a better place20 in which to live and work.21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that22 the members of this body commend Evan Marie Carr for her many r emarkable career23 accomplishments as well as extend the most sincere gratitude fo r her dedicated efforts on24 behalf of the citizens of this state and beyond.25 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized26 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Evan27 Marie Carr. 28 H.
