25 LC 112 3064 House Resolution 302 By: Representatives Tran of the 80th, Park of the 107th, Au of the 50th, Hong of the 103rd, Lim of the 98th, and others A RESOLUTION Honoring the life and memory of Jimmy Chang; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, the State of Georgia mourns the loss of one of its most distinguished citizens2 with the passing of Jimmy Chang; and3 WHEREAS, Jimmy Chang graduated from the University of Georgia, where he was a4 member of the Lambda Phi Epsilon fraternity; and5 WHEREAS, he demonstrated exceptional leadership in the real estate industry as the 20246 President of the Asian Real Estate Association of America – Atlanta Metro Chapter and as7 a member of the 2024 Atlanta Realtors Association Board of Directors; and8 WHEREAS, deeply committed to his community, Jimmy Chang was act ively involved in9 numerous local organizations and charities, dedicating innumera ble hours of his time and10 energy toward improving the lives of others; and11 WHEREAS, he was admired for his kindness, his mentorship, and his positive and vibrant12 attitude, leaving a lasting impact on colleagues, friends, and mentees alike; and13 H. R. 302 - 1 - 25 LC 112 3064 WHEREAS, a compassionate and generous individual, Jimmy Chang w ill long be14 remembered for his love of family, friendship, and community and will be missed by all who15 had the great fortune of knowing him.16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that17 the members of this body join in honoring the life and memory of Jimmy Chang and express18 their deepest and most sincere regret at his passing.19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized20 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the21 family of Jimmy Chang.22 H.
