Hutchings College and Career Academy and Princi pal Dr. Cassandra1 Washington; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, W.S. Hutchings College and Career Academy has been a beacon of excellence3 in preparing students in Macon-Bibb County for success in college, careers, and beyond; and4 WHEREAS, under the exceptional leadership of Dr. Cassandra Wash ington, the academy5 has cultivated a learning environment that provides students wi th innovative academic6 programs, hands-on career training, and essential workforce skills; and7 WHEREAS, W.S. Hutchings College and Career Academy has fostered strong partnerships8 with local businesses, industries, and higher education institutions to ensure students have9 access to meaningful opportunities that align with Georgia's economic and workforce needs;10 and11 WHEREAS, Dr. Cassandra Washington's dedication to educational e xcellence, student12 empowerment, and community engagement has had a profound impact on the lives of13 countless students, equipping them with the tools to thrive in an increasingly competitive14 world; and15 H.
