25 LC 112 3011 House Resolution 293 By: Representative Kendrick of the 95th A RESOLUTION Commending Stacey Samedi; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, the second annual Tech Demo Day at the state capitol will be held March 13,2 2025, hosted by Representative Dar'shun Kendrick; and3 WHEREAS, this exciting event will both celebrate Women's History Month and highlight4 leaders from across the State of Georgia under the theme "Women In Artificial Intelligence";5 and6 WHEREAS, Stacey Samedi is the founder and product engineer of S amedi Label, an7 Atlanta-based technology company specializing in AI/ML integrat ion and platform8 development; and9 WHEREAS, at Samedi Label, she bridges her deep engineering expe rtise with strategic10 growth initiatives, specializing in user-centered design, systems integration, and data-driven11 decision-making to optimize technical infrastructure and drive product success; and12 H. R. 293 - 1 - 25 LC 112 3011 WHEREAS, her comprehensive approach to technical leadership, combined with her track13 record in both corporate and entrepreneurial environments, makes her a valuable contributor14 to Georgia's growing technology ecosystem; and15 WHEREAS, Stacey Samedi has further demonstrated exceptional ent repreneurial success16 with Samedi Sneakers, generating over $100,000 in first-year organic sales; and17 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this outstand ing participant be18 appropriately honored for using her passion and creativity to make our state a better place19 in which to live and work.20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that21 the members of this body commend Stacey Samedi for her many rem arkable career22 accomplishments as well as extend the most sincere gratitude fo r her dedicated efforts on23 behalf of the citizens of this state and beyond.24 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized25 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to26 Stacey Samedi. 27 H.
