Smith; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, the second annual Tech Demo Day at the state capitol will be held March 13,2 2025, hosted by Representative Dar'shun Kendrick; and3 WHEREAS, this exciting event will both celebrate Women's History Month and highlight4 leaders from across the State of Georgia under the theme "Women In Artificial Intelligence";5 and6 WHEREAS, Denise N. Smith is a visionary leader with over two decades of experience in7 technology and business strategy who currently serves as CEO of DNS Consulting, where8 she collaborates with small businesses, private equity, and ven ture capital portfolio9 companies to drive innovation, scalability, and transformative growth; and10 WHEREAS, her distinguished career spans prior leadership roles at firms such as EY, Cox11 Automotive, and Hewitt Associates, during which time she has sp earheaded initiatives to12 optimize performance, scale operations, and advance technological solutions; and13 H. R. 300 - 1 - 25 LC 112 3005 WHEREAS, a passionate advocate for leveraging technology to bridge societal gaps, Denise14 N. Smith has traveled to 152 countries, gaining a global perspective on business innovation15 and leadership, and her expertise in AI and technology transformation has positioned her as16 a forward-thinking trailblazer; and17 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this outstand ing participant be18 appropriately honored for using her passion and creativity to m ake our state a better place19 in which to live and work.20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that21 the members of this body commend Denise N. Smith for her many r emarkable career22 accomplishments as well as extend the most sincere gratitude fo r her dedicated efforts on23 behalf of the citizens of this state and beyond.24 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized25 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to26 Denise N.
