25 LC 112 3012 House Resolution 292 By: Representative Kendrick of the 95th A RESOLUTION Commending Dr. Whitney N. Blanco; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, the second annual Tech Demo Day at the state capitol will be held March 13,2 2025, hosted by Representative Dar'shun Kendrick; and3 WHEREAS, this exciting event will both celebrate Women's History Month and highlight4 leaders from across the State of Georgia under the theme "Women In Artificial Intelligence";5 and6 WHEREAS, a strategic leader and entrepreneur, Dr. Whitney N. Bl anco is the founder of7 Acreage, a real estate analytics platform that leverages AI, ma chine learning, and GIS to8 revolutionize urban development through data-driven solutions t hat promote economic9 growth, sustainability, and responsible development; and10 WHEREAS, with a multifaceted background in real estate, civil engineering, public health,11 and international development, she has spent over a decade designing innovative strategies12 that bridge technology, urban planning, and financial feasibility, making her a sought-after13 consultant for transformative initiatives worldwide; and14 H. R. 292 - 1 - 25 LC 112 3012 WHEREAS, her career spans the corporate, government, and nonprofit sectors, where she15 has led cross-functional teams, advised on multi-million-dollar real estate and international16 programs, and established high-impact partnerships with government agencies, private sector17 leaders, and global organizations; and18 WHEREAS, she has further served as a World Health Organization (WHO) global19 coordinator and project management officer, leading international development strategies,20 health infrastructure planning, and a $1 billion Ebola response plan in collaboration with G7,21 G20, and major world health funders; and22 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this outstand ing participant be23 appropriately honored for using her passion and creativity to m ake our state a better place24 in which to live and work.25 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that26 the members of this body commend Dr. Whitney N. Blanco for her many remarkable career27 accomplishments as well as extend the most sincere gratitude fo r her dedicated efforts on28 behalf of the citizens of this state and beyond.29 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized30 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Dr.31 Whitney N.
