25 LC 61 0110 House Bill 550 By: Representatives Bell of the 75th, Sainz of the 180th, Townsend of the 179th, Wilkerson of the 38th, and Stinson of the 150th A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT To amend Code Section 20-2B-23 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to1 requirements for participating schools, responsibilities of edu cation savings authority,2 prohibited requirements, and agency not established, so as to require participating schools3 to prepare school safety plans that meet certain requirements; to provide for related matters;4 to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.5 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:6 SECTION 1.7 Code Section 20-2B-23 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to requirements8 for participating schools, responsibilities of education saving s authority, prohibited9 requirements, and agency not established, is amended by adding a new subsection to read as10 follows:11 "(h) Each participating school shall prepare a school safety pl an that meets the12 requirements for school safety plans of public schools as set f orth in Code Section13 20-2-1185."14 H.
