25 LC 112 3073 House Resolution 343 By: Representatives Gambill of the 15th and Scoggins of the 14th A RESOLUTION Congratulating and commending the Bartow County Sheriff's Office, the Cartersville-Bartow1 County Chamber of Commerce 2024 Community Partner of the Year; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, under the leadership of Sheriff Clark Millsap, the Bar tow County Sheriff's3 Office has made a profound impact on the community through its commitment to service,4 collaboration, and innovation; and5 WHEREAS, the Bartow County Sheriff's Office has been a key partner in the success of the6 Second Chance program, working with the chamber's workforce development initiatives to7 create opportunities for individuals seeking a fresh start; and8 WHEREAS, through these efforts, the Bartow County Sheriff's Office has helped countless9 citizens rebuild their lives and fostered hope within the community; and10 WHEREAS, the Bartow County Sheriff's Office has further transformed how the community11 supports those in need, making it a well-deserved recipient of this prestigious award.12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that13 the members of this body congratulate the Bartow County Sheriff's Office upon being named14 H. R. 343 - 1 - 25 LC 112 3073 the Cartersville-Bartow County Chamber of Commerce 2024 Communi ty Partner of the15 Year; commend the Bartow County Sheriff's Office for its many outstanding contributions16 on behalf of the citizens of Georgia; and extend best wishes for its continued success.17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized18 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the19 Bartow County Sheriff's Office.20 H.
