25 LC 112 3168 House Resolution 418 By: Representative Smith of the 18th A RESOLUTION Congratulating the Bremen High School competition cheerleading team for winning the 20241 1A-D1 Cheerleading State Championship; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, the Bremen High School competition cheerleading team h as established and3 maintained a proud tradition of excellence with equal emphases on character and academics;4 and5 WHEREAS, excellent performance, superior teamwork, and extraordinary resilience made6 this team a spectacular one to observe throughout the season, a nd as a fitting finale to its7 remarkable 2024 campaign, the team claimed victory at the 1A-D1 Cheerleading State8 Championship; and9 WHEREAS, the phenomenal performance of the team is a clear indication of the outstanding10 athletic ability, dedication, hard work, and unity of purpose and spirit of each member as well11 as the astute direction of coaches Jessica Patterson and Taylor Griffin; and12 WHEREAS, this all-star team included Lacey Clark, Maggie Green, Sadiejane Harper,13 Adelyn Floyd, Alexa Howle, Jaycie Evans, Zoe Davis, Meara Brown, Molly Kate Costley,14 H. R. 418 - 1 - 25 LC 112 3168 Molly Gann, Raegan Spivey, Hailey Shultz, Charley Sheffield, Molly Catherine Clements,15 Sophie Shows, Logan Camp, Kendal Lunsford, Naomi Henley, and Marley McAdams; and16 WHEREAS, as this magnificent team earned its well-deserved reputation for excellence by17 performing with courage and precision over months of training a nd competition, it is18 abundantly proper to call them champions.19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that20 the members of this body congratulate the Bremen High School co mpetition cheerleading21 team for winning the 2024 1A-D1 Cheerleading State Championship and extend best wishes22 for continued success.23 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized24 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the25 Bremen High School competition cheerleading team.26 H.
