25 LC 112 3150 Senate Resolution 306 By: Senator Islam Parkes of the 7th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Rahim Shah Akhunkhail; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Rahim Shah Akhunkhail is a distinguished philanthropist, entrepreneur, activist,2 and community leader whose dedication to humanitarian efforts has had an immense global3 impact; and4 WHEREAS, as the founder of several impactful organizations, he has worked tirelessly to5 empower marginalized communities, foster cross-cultural underst anding, and promote6 economic and social development; and7 WHEREAS, his philanthropic work spans multiple countries, including the United States,8 Pakistan, Morocco, Somalia, and Guatemala, and he has served as both a steadfast advocate9 for the voiceless and a driving force behind meaningful social change; and10 WHEREAS, during his distinguished 19 year-long tenure in corporate America, primarily11 in management consulting, he worked with Fortune 100 companies such as IBM, AT&T,12 Cisco, Citi Bank, HP, and Verizon; and13 S. R. 306 - 1 - 25 LC 112 3150 WHEREAS, he played a pivotal role in establishing customer mana gement consulting14 practices for two prominent firms before transitioning to entrepreneurship, and he now owns15 and operates several successful ventures in the hospitality industry in the United States; and16 WHEREAS, he has received prestigious accolades such as the JD P ower & Associates17 Award and recognition as a Top 100 CIO Master of Customer Satis faction for three18 companies; and19 WHEREAS, Rahim Shah Akhunkhail is a person of magnanimous stren gths with an20 unimpeachable reputation for integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and21 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this22 remarkable and distinguished individual be appropriately recognized.23 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body24 recognize and commend Rahim Shah Akhunkhail for his many exempl ary career25 accomplishments and contributions on behalf of others as well a s extend the most sincere26 best wishes for continued health and happiness.27 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed28 to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for di stribution to Rahim Shah29 Akhunkhail.30 S.
