25 LC 129 0221 House Resolution 442 By: Representative Lupton of the 83rd A RESOLUTION Congratulating and commending Natasha Byrd for receiving the 2025 Yellow Rose Nikki1 T. Randall Servant Leadership Award; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, Natasha Byrd, CEO and Founder of Dream Teens Community Foundation Inc.,3 has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to serving and empowe ring her community4 through mentorship, youth development, and philanthropic efforts; and5 WHEREAS, as an Atlanta native and the eldest of 12 siblings, Natasha embraced leadership6 and care giving from an early age, dedicating her life to uplifting others, particularly young7 athletes, underserved individuals, and families in need; and8 WHEREAS, through her extensive experience in recruiting, human resources, and9 community relations, Natasha has provided invaluable support to job seekers, fostering10 second-chance employment opportunities and guiding individuals toward success; and11 WHEREAS, Natasha's work at UPS as a District Community Relations representative for the12 UPS Foundation allowed her to collaborate with nonprofits across Georgia, North Carolina,13 and South Carolina, strengthening community programs and initiatives; and14 H. R. 442 - 1 - 25 LC 129 0221 WHEREAS, recognizing the need for youth empowerment in education, counseling, health15 and wellness, life skills, and community exposure, Natasha foun ded the Dream Teens16 Community Foundation Inc. to equip young people with the knowle dge and resources to17 build a brighter future; and18 WHEREAS, her dedication to service embodies the spirit of collaboration and the philosophy19 that "It Takes a Village," ensuring that the next generation is nurtured, supported, and20 prepared for success; and21 WHEREAS, in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the community, her leadership22 in youth development, and her lifelong mission to uplift others, we are honored to present23 Natasha Byrd with the Yellow Rose Award for her exemplary service and profound impact.24 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that25 the members of this body congratulate and commend Natasha Byrd for receiving the 202526 Yellow Rose Nikki T. Randall Servant Leadership Award, celebrate her selfless dedication27 and work as an inspiration to all who strive to make a difference in the lives of others, and28 extend best wishes for her continued success.29 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized30 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to31 Natasha Byrd.32 H.
