25 LC 129 0204 Senate Resolution 316 By: Senators Dixon of the 45th, Echols of the 49th, Ginn of the 47th, Anavitarte of the 31st, Gooch of the 51st and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending the Georgia Teen Republicans; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, since 1960, Teenage Republicans have been working to educate, empower, and2 connect youth to conservative politics, fostering a spirit of civic engagement and leadership3 among young people; and4 WHEREAS, the Georgia Teen Republicans are an active and dedicat ed group of young5 conservatives in Georgia working to engage peers in the politic al process, advocate for6 conservative values, and support Republican candidates at all l evels of government in the7 State of Georgia; and8 WHEREAS, the mission of the Georgia Teen Republicans is to inspire the next generation9 of leaders by encouraging youth involvement in politics, suppor ting the principles of10 individual liberty, limited government, and free markets, and working to elect Republicans11 who uphold these values; and12 WHEREAS, the Georgia Teen Republicans contribute to the future of the state by educating 13 peers on the importance of voting, public service, and standing up for conservative values14 in their communities and schools.15 S. R. 316 - 1 - 25 LC 129 0204 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body16 recognize and commend the Georgia Teen Republicans for their efforts in promoting political17 engagement, fostering leadership, empowering the next generatio n of conservatives in18 Georgia, and working to elect Republican leaders who will serve the best interests of the19 state.20 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed21 to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the Georgia Teen22 Republicans.23 S.
