25 LC 112 3162 House Resolution 453 By: Representatives Kelley of the 16th, Hilton of the 48th, Rice of the 139th, Cameron of the 1st, Fleming of the 114th, and others A RESOLUTION Honoring the life and memory of Artward Howard Jr.; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, the State of Georgia mourns the loss of one of its most distinguished citizens2 with the passing of Artward Howard Jr.; and3 WHEREAS, he gave inspiration to many through his high ideals, morals, and deep concern4 for his fellow citizens, and the devotion, patience, and understanding he demonstrated to his5 family and friends were admired by others; and6 WHEREAS, he was a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation7 for integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness, and by the example he made of his life, he8 made this world a better place in which to live; and9 WHEREAS, a compassionate and generous man, Artward Howard Jr. w ill long be10 remembered for his love of family, friendship, and community and will be missed by all who11 had the great fortune of knowing him.12 H. R. 453 - 1 - 25 LC 112 3162 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that13 the members of this body join in honoring the life and memory of Artward Howard Jr. and14 express their deepest and most sincere regret at his passing.15 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized16 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the17 family of Artward Howard Jr.18 H.
