25 LC 112 3200 House Resolution 460 By: Representatives Huddleston of the 72nd, Smith of the 18th, Howard of the 71st, and Smith of the 70th A RESOLUTION Commending the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce on its 70th anniversary, Leadership1 Carroll on its 33rd anniversary, and Carroll Tomorrow on its 25 th anniversary and2 recognizing the Leadership Carroll Class of 2025; and for other purposes.3 WHEREAS, the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce has served as a vital organization4 for businesses and community leaders, fostering economic growth , advocacy, and5 collaboration for the past 70 years; and6 WHEREAS, since its founding in 1954, the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce has7 played a key role in supporting local businesses, workforce dev elopment, and regional8 prosperity, making significant contributions to the economic success of Carroll County and9 West Georgia; and10 WHEREAS, Leadership Carroll, established 33 years ago, has been instrumental in11 identifying, educating, and developing leaders within the community, equipping them with12 the knowledge and skills to address the challenges and opportunities of Carroll County; and13 H. R. 460 - 1 - 25 LC 112 3200 WHEREAS, Carroll Tomorrow, celebrating 25 years of economic and community14 development, has worked to strengthen the county's business climate, enhance job creation,15 and improve quality of life through strategic initiatives and partnerships; and16 WHEREAS, the Leadership Carroll Class of 2025 represents the next generation of leaders17 who are dedicated to serving Carroll County, engaging in meanin gful dialogue, and18 contributing to the continued growth and success of the region; and19 WHEREAS, these organizations and programs exemplify a commitmen t to leadership,20 innovation, and progress, ensuring that Carroll County remains a thriving community for21 businesses, families, and future generations.22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that23 the members of this body commend the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce on its 70th24 anniversary, Leadership Carroll on its 33rd anniversary, and Carroll Tomorrow on its 25th25 anniversary for their outstanding service and dedication to the citizens of Carroll County.26 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Leadership Carroll Class of 2025 is recognized and27 encouraged to continue their leadership journey with excellence and commitment to the28 betterment of Carroll County and the State of Georgia.29 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized30 and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution avai lable for distribution to the31 Carroll County Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Carroll, Carroll Tomorrow, and the32 Leadership Carroll Class of 2025.33 H.
