A RESOLUTION
Congratulating Jonathon Westberry and Dallon Lowe for winning the 2024 GHSA Class AA1
Traditional Wrestling State Championship; and for other purposes.2
WHEREAS, Jonathon Westberry and Dallon Lowe have established and maintained a proud3
tradition of excellence with equal emphases on character and academics; and4
WHEREAS, Jonathon Westberry and Dallon Lowe, of Brantley County , completed their5
triumphant 2024 wrestling seasons by securing state championshi ps in their respective6
weight classes; and7
WHEREAS, Jonathon Westberry, competing in the 126-pound division, and Dallon Lowe,8
competing in the 132-pound division, demonstrated superior stre ngth, technique, and9
resilience throughout the season, earning their titles as state champions; and10
WHEREAS, their phenomenal performances are a clear indication o f their outstanding11
athletic ability, unwavering commitment, and unity of purpose a nd spirit, as well as the12
expert direction of coaches Arron Beck, Ginny Shelton, and Jay Edwards; and13

WHEREAS, as these remarkable wrestlers earned their well-deserv ed reputations for14
excellence by competing with determination and precision, it is abundantly fitting and proper15
to honor them as champions.16
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that17
the members of this body congratulate Jonathon Westberry and Dallon Lowe for winning the18
2024 GHSA Class AA Traditional Wrestling State Championship and extend best wishes for19
their continued success.20
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized21
and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution avai lable for distribution to22
Jonathon Westberry and Dallon Lowe.23
