25 LC 129 0231 House Resolution 485 By: Representatives Gilliard of the 162nd, Stephens of the 164th, Hitchens of the 161st, and Williams of the 168th A RESOLUTION Commending Combat Boots 2 Boardroom for its dedication to empow ering veterans and1 recognizing March 11, 2025, as Combat Boots 2 Boardroom Day at the state capitol; and for2 other purposes.3 WHEREAS, the State of Georgia recognizes the invaluable contrib utions of our nation's4 veterans, whose service and sacrifice have safeguarded our freedoms and strengthened our5 communities; and6 WHEREAS, many veterans face unique challenges when transitioning from military service7 to civilian careers, including navigating professional developm ent, entrepreneurship, and8 leadership opportunities; and9 WHEREAS, the Combat Boots 2 Boardroom's Veteran Pathway program is a distinguished10 initiative dedicated to equipping veterans with the skills, knowledge, and resources necessary11 to thrive in business, corporate leadership, and entrepreneurial endeavors; and12 WHEREAS, this program provides tailored mentorship, professional training, networking13 opportunities, and strategic guidance to help veterans translate their military experience into14 successful civilian careers; and15 H. R. 485 - 1 - 25 LC 129 0231 WHEREAS, Combat Boots 2 Boardroom has positively impacted the lives of many veterans16 across Georgia, fostering economic growth, leadership developme nt, and a strong support17 network for those who have served our country; and18 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this outstand ing program be19 appropriately honored for its unwavering commitment to empoweri ng veterans and20 strengthening our communities.21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that22 the members of this body commend Combat Boots 2 Boardroom for its dedicated service to23 Georgia's veteran community, extend best wishes for its continu ed success in supporting24 those who have honorably served our nation, and recognize March 11, 2025, as Combat25 Boots 2 Boardroom Day at the state capitol.26 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized27 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to28 Combat Boots 2 Boardroom.29 H.
