25 LC 129 0266 House Resolution 493 By: Representatives McDonald III of the 26th, Jasperse of the 11th, Barrett of the 24th, Cox of the 28th, and Jones of the 25th A RESOLUTION Honoring Tim Hyrbu of West Forsyth High School, the 2024 GHSA Class 6A Heavyweight1 Boys Wrestling State Champion; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, Tim Hyrbu, a student-athlete at West Forsyth High School, has demonstrated3 outstanding skill, dedication, and perseverance in the sport of wrestling; and4 WHEREAS, through his exceptional performance, Tim Hyrbu secured the title of 20245 GHSA Class 6A Heavyweight Boys Wrestling State Champion, winning the final match of6 the 285lb weight class with a pin in the first round, bringing great pride and recognition to7 West Forsyth High School and Forsyth County; and8 WHEREAS, Coach Evan Goff has the esteemed privilege of serving as head coach to the9 program, and oversaw countless hours of training and competition to assist in the growth of10 Mr. Hyrbu and his teammates; and11 WHEREAS, Tim Hyrbu's victory is a testament to his commitment to excellence, countless12 hours of training, and the unwavering support of his coaches, teammates, family, and school13 community; and14 H. R. 493 - 1 - 25 LC 129 0266 WHEREAS, his athletic achievements serve as an inspiration to his peers and a reflection of15 the values of hard work, sportsmanship, and determination.16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that17 the members of this body recognize and honor Tim Hyrbu for his exceptional accomplishemt18 as the 2024 GHSA Class 6A heavyweight Boys Wrestling State Champion.19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized20 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Tim21 Hyrbu.22 H.
