25 LC 129 0240 House Resolution 501 By: Representatives Beckles of the 96th, Adeyina of the 110th, Okoye of the 102nd, Lim of the 98th, McClain of the 109th, and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending John Reyes Martinez; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, second-grader John Reyes Martinez is the youngest stud ent to represent2 Norcross Elementary School at the Capitol Art Exhibit in 15 years, which now features his3 self portrait made using oil pastels; and4 WHEREAS, John Reyes Martinez comes from a loving family of nine and lives with his5 beloved cat, Russo, and dog, Chapito; and6 WHEREAS, outside of art, he enjoys playing soccer as well as st udying math and science7 in school; and8 WHEREAS, he comes from a loving family of nine and lives with his beloved cat, Russo,9 and dog, Chapito; and10 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this11 young artist be appropriately honored.12 H. R. 501 - 1 - 25 LC 129 0240 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that13 the members of this body recognize and commend the exemplary ar tistic and academic14 abilities of John Reyes Martinez and extend sincere best wishes for his continued success.15 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized16 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to John17 Reyes Martinez.18 H.
