25 LC 129 0287 House Resolution 526 By: Representative Kendrick of the 95th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Jerry Jerome Buie; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Jerry Jerome Buie has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for the2 vital role that he has played in leadership and his deep personal commitment to the welfare3 of the citizens of Georgia; and4 WHEREAS, he has diligently and conscientiously devoted innumerable hours of his time,5 talents, and energy toward the betterment of his community and state as evidenced6 dramatically by his superlative service with Atlanta Public Schools; and7 WHEREAS, for 32 years, Jerry served Atlanta Public Schools as a custodian and site8 manger, demonstrating strong work ethics, exceptional dedicatio n, and an unwavering9 commitment to maintaining a safe and effective educational environment; and10 WHEREAS, this distinguished gentleman has given inspiration to many through his high11 ideals, morals, and deep concern for his fellow citizens, and he possesses the vast wisdom12 which only comes through experience and the strength of charact er which is achieved13 through overcoming the many challenges of life; and14 H. R. 526 - 1 - 25 LC 129 0287 WHEREAS, he is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for15 integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and16 WHEREAS, Jerry has served with honor and distinction with Atlan ta Public Schools, and17 his vision and unyielding commitment to his community will be s orely missed upon the18 occasion of his retirement; and19 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this20 remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that22 the members of this body recognize and commend Jerry Jerome Bui e for his efficient,23 effective, unselfish, and dedicated public service to the State of Georgia; congratulate him24 upon the grand occasion of his retirement; and extend the most sincere best wishes for25 continued health and happiness.26 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized27 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Jerry28 Jerome Buie.29 H.
