25 LC 129 0235 House Resolution 556 By: Representatives Burns of the 159th, Parrish of the 158th, Blackmon of the 146th, Newton of the 127th, Jones of the 47th, and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Richard L. Jackson, recipient of the 2025 Leaders in1 Corporate Citizenship Ann Cramer Lifetime Achievement Award; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, Richard L. Jackson currently serves as the founder, ch airman, and CEO of3 Jackson Healthcare, one of the largest healthcare staffing comp anies in the United States,4 where he has been instrumental in conceptualizing and developing more than 30 healthcare5 companies; and6 WHEREAS, he was selected recently by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as the recipient of7 the 2025 Leaders in Corporate Citizenship Ann Cramer Lifetime A chievement Award in8 honor of the positive impact he has made on people and communities throughout his career;9 and10 WHEREAS, the Ann Cramer Lifetime Achievement Award, the program 's highest honor,11 celebrates outstanding corporate citizens who have achieved a l ifetime of service to the12 community; and13 WHEREAS, in addition to Jackson Healthcare, he further serves a s founder of Fostering14 Success Act Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to providing vital resources for young people aging15 H. R. 556 - 1 - 25 LC 129 0235 out of Georgia's foster care system, and as co-founder and chair of FaithBridge Foster Care,16 Georgia's largest private child-placing agency; and17 WHEREAS, in 2024, Fostering Success Act Inc. delivered $4 milli on in financial support18 to former foster youth pursuing post-secondary education, and since its inception in 2009,19 FaithBridge has positively impacted nearly 2,000 children and facilitated more than 1,00020 family reunifications and over 350 adoptions; and21 WHEREAS, Richard L. Jackson's significant organizational and le adership talents,22 remarkable patience and diplomacy, keen sense of vision, and sensitivity to the needs of the23 citizens of this state have earned him the respect and admirati on of his colleagues and24 associates; and25 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this26 remarkable and distinguished individual be appropriately honored during this special time.27 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that28 the members of this body recognize and commend Richard L. Jackson, recipient of the 202529 Leaders in Corporate Citizenship Ann Cramer Lifetime Achievement Award, and extend the30 most sincere best wishes for continued health and happiness.31 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized32 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to33 Richard L.
