Tires, Southeast Atlanta, for1 his outstanding contributions to the community; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, Maurice Davis is a distinguished and esteemed resident of Southeast Atlanta,3 Georgia, and the proud owner of J.M.R. Tires; and4 WHEREAS, Maurice Davis has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to5 uplifting his community, particularly by providing opportunities for individuals in need of6 a second chance; and7 WHEREAS, through his business, J.M.R. Tires, Mr. Davis has offe red employment,8 mentorship, and guidance to countless individuals seeking to re build their lives, thereby9 fostering economic stability and personal growth; and10 WHEREAS, his dedication to service extends beyond his business, as he regularly supports11 local initiatives, sponsors community events, and lends his resources to those in need; and12 H. R. 530 - 1 - 25 LC 129 0303 WHEREAS, Maurice Davis exemplifies the true spirit of generosit y, perseverance, and13 leadership, and his work has had a profound and lasting impact on the lives of many within14 Southeast Atlanta and beyond; and15 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstandi ng achievements and16 community contributions of Maurice Davis be appropriately recognized.17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that18 the members of this body recognize and commend Maurice Davis for his exemplary service19 and dedication to the people of Southeast Atlanta, express thei r deepest gratitude for his20 continued efforts in providing second chances to those in need, and extend best wishes for21 his continued success.22 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized23 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to24 Maurice Davis.25 H.
