A RESOLUTION
Congratulating the Pierce County girls golf team for winning the GHSA Girls Golf AA State1
Championship; and for other purposes.2
WHEREAS, the Pierce County girls golf team has demonstrated exc eptional skill,3
dedication, and teamwork in securing the state championship title; and 4
WHEREAS, through perseverance, determination, and an unwavering commitment to5
excellence, the members of this outstanding team have earned a place in Georgia sports6
history; and7
WHEREAS, the exemplary performance of the team is a result of t he hard work and8
guidance of Head Coach Stuart Stipe and Assistant Coach Kim Spi vey as well as the9
dedication of team members Mackenzie Connell, Mollie Kate Dixon , Chloe Lynn, Belle10
Sinclair, and Lily Spivey; and11
WHEREAS, Mackenzie Connell and Lily Spivey were named to the GH SA AA All-State12
team; and13
WHEREAS, Coach Stipe was voted GHSA/NFHS Girls Golf Coach of the Year; and14

WHEREAS, this remarkable accomplishment is a source of great pride for the athletes, their15
families, their school, and the entire Pierce County community; and16
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstandi ng achievements of this17
extraordinary team be appropriately recognized.18
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that19
the members of this body congratulate the Pierce County girls golf team on winning the state20
championship for the third consecutive year and commend them fo r their hard work,21
perseverance, and commitment to excellence.22
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized23
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the24
Pierce County girls golf team.25
