L. 1960, p. 110), as amended, so2 as to provide an additional supplement for the chief judge of s aid circuit; to provide for3 related matters; to provide an effective date; to repeal confli cting laws; and for other4 purposes.5 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:6 SECTION 1.7 An Act creating the Gwinnett Judicial Circuit and providing for its powers, duties,8 jurisdiction, and officers, approved February 12, 1960 (Ga. L. 1960, p. 110), as amended, is9 amended by adding a new section to read as follows:10 "SECTION 2A.1.11 The governing authority of Gwinnett County shall provide from county funds supplements12 to the compensation received from state funds for the chief judge of the superior court in13 the amount of $10,000.00 per year, to be paid in 12 equal month l y p a y m e n t s . T h e14 H. B. 770 - 1 - 25 LC 47 3528/AP supplement provided by this section shall be in addition to any other county supplements15 provided to each judge of the superior court."16 SECTION 2.17 This Act shall become effective on June 1, 2025.18 SECTION 3.19 All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.20 H.
