25 LC 129 0324 House Resolution 644 By: Representatives Cannon of the 58th, Bennett of the 94th, McQueen of the 61st, and Bell of the 75th A RESOLUTION Commending Monesha Clark and recognizing March 20, 2025, as TrailBlazing Women in1 Georgia Day; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, TrailBlazing Women in Georgia Day acknowledges the philanthropic, social,3 and cultural contributions of women in the state; and4 WHEREAS, Monesha Clark has long been recognized for the vital role that she has played5 in leadership and her deep personal commitment to the welfare o f the citizens of Georgia;6 and7 WHEREAS, known as "Ms. Atl Doll," Monesha is a multi-talented event promoter, media8 personality, model, and entrepreneur based in Atlanta, Georgia; and9 WHEREAS, Monesha is the founder of a revolutionary lipstick and lashes company; the host10 of DaPostUp, an acclaimed radio and television show centered on life in Atlanta; as well as11 a writer and red carpet reporter with several prestigious publications; and12 H. R. 644 - 1 - 25 LC 129 0324 WHEREAS, in addition to her media efforts, Monesha recently released her first guidebook13 titled HustleHer's Playbook: Guide for Boss Babes to Earn Extra Income , aimed at14 empowering women to achieve financial independence; and15 WHEREAS, she thrives in the entertainment industry, using her p latform to connect with16 others, share her journey, and inspire fellow entrepreneurs; and17 WHEREAS, she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for18 integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and19 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstandi ng contributions of this20 individual be appropriately honored.21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that22 the members of this body commend Monesha Clark for her efficient, effective, unselfish, and23 dedicated public service to the State of Georgia; recognize March, 20, 2025, as TrailBlazing24 Women in Georgia Day; and extend the most sincere best wishes for continued health and25 happiness.26 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized27 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to28 Monesha Clark.29 H.
