25 LC 112 3395 Senate Resolution 420 By: Senator James of the 28th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending the Global Sisters Speak Network; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, founded by Sebrena Sumrah-Kelly, the Global Sisters Speak Network seeks to2 foster and empower a global circle of women and girls to live abundantly in their authenticity3 as well as find success through business and community endeavors; and4 WHEREAS, Sebrena Sumrah-Kelly is a multifaceted global influencer, TV and radio host,5 producer, motivational speaker, and life coach who has been fea tured in such notable6 publications as Who's Who in Black Atlanta and Voyage ATL Magazine; and7 WHEREAS, she further serves as the founder and president of Car ibbean and American8 Global Business Connections, facilitating international network ing and fostering business9 growth; and10 WHEREAS, initiatives that provide crucial opportunities for bus iness growth, leadership,11 and economic empowerment contribute to stronger communities and greater global12 connectivity; and13 S. R. 420 - 1 - 25 LC 112 3395 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the Global Si sters Speak Network be14 appropriately honored during this special time.15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body16 recognize and commend the Global Sisters Speak Network for its many outstanding17 contributions on behalf of women worldwide as well as extend be st wishes for continued18 success.19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed20 to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the Global Sisters21 Speak Network.22 S.
