A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending the Georgia Haitian-American Chamber of Commerce Inc.;1
and for other purposes.2
WHEREAS, the Georgia Haitian-American Chamber of Commerce Inc. (GAHCCI) has3
demonstrated outstanding leadership and commitment to the econo mic and cultural4
advancement of the Haitian-American community in Georgia; and5
WHEREAS, GAHCCI has launched the PPRNE (Pinnacle Project: Reach ing Nonprofit6
Excellence) program, an initiative dedicated to elevating nonpr ofit organizations by7
providing them with the tools and guidance needed to thrive and expand their impact; and8
WHEREAS, GAHCCI has established Eritaj, a visionary program des igned to train,9
recognize, and elevate businesses that are building lasting leg acies for themselves and the10
community while celebrating those who embody excellence, resili ence, and community11
impact; and12
WHEREAS, GAHCCI will hold its 10th annual Pwochen Lide/Eritaj G ala to honor and13
award businesses and organizations that embody excellence, resi lience, and community14

impact and to provide scholarships for high school graduates of Haitian descent who have15
demonstrated academic excellence; and16
WHEREAS, GAHCCI has successfully organized the Haitian Flag Day celebration on May17
18, 2024, and 2025, honoring Haiti's rich history and culture w hile uniting the Haitian18
diaspora and fostering a sense of pride and solidarity; and19
WHEREAS, GAHCCI has introduced CommerceWorx, an innovative monthly training and20
networking program that empowers entrepreneurs and business owners with essential skills,21
resources, and connections to thrive in a competitive marketplace; and22
WHEREAS, GAHCCI has played a pivotal role in promoting unity among diverse business23
communities by hosting the Multi Black Chamber Mixer, an event that fosters collaboration,24
networking, and economic empowerment across multiple Black chambers of commerce; and25
WHEREAS, GAHCCI has launched the BEL Initiative, a premier entr epreneurship and26
leadership development program designed to empower Haitian entrepreneurs with the skills,27
knowledge, and networks needed to build sustainable businesses; and28
WHEREAS, through immersive training, mentorship, and hands-on l earning experiences,29
BEL Initiative participants gain practical insights into business development, innovation, and30
investment strategies; and31
WHEREAS, GAHCCI awarded grants to three small businesses in Hai ti in October 2024,32
providing financial support to drive economic growth and sustainability within the Haitian33
business ecosystem; and34

WHEREAS, GAHCCI has established the GAHCCI Foundation to contin ue its charitable35
work in the community and abroad, extending resources and oppor tunities to underserved36
populations; and37
WHEREAS, GAHCCI has launched the Georgia Haitian Real Estate As sociation, a38
dedicated group of real estate professionals committed to fostering connections within the39
Georgia Haitian community; and40
WHEREAS, members of the association operate in unity, fellowship, and collaboration to41
promote growth and success among real estate professionals; and42
WHEREAS, members of GAHCCI enjoy exclusive benefits, including monthly business43
coaching, networking and educational events, complimentary advertisements, opportunities44
to serve on chamber committees, special rates on events and con sultations, and access to45
exclusive deals that enhance their business opportunities and professional development; and46
WHEREAS, under the visionary leadership of President Dr. Ronald Cetoute, Vice President47
and Membership Chair Jacques Laurent, Secretary Jean Casseus, Board Development and48
Immediate Past Chairman Saurel Quettan, Fundraising Chair Dr. M arjorie Denis,49
Membership Chair Herve Dor, and Board Member Natalie Delille, GAHCCI continues to be50
a beacon of support, collaboration, and growth, propelling Haitian-American businesses and51
communities toward a prosperous and interconnected future.52
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that53
the members of this body recognize and commend the Georgia Haitian-American Chamber54
of Commerce Inc. for its unwavering dedication to the prosperity and cultural enrichment of55

the Haitian-American community and for its significant contributions to the broader business56
ecosystem in Georgia.57
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized58
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the59
Georgia Haitian-American Chamber of Commerce Inc.60
