25 LC 62 0189 House Bill 862 By: Representatives Jackson of the 68th, McQueen of the 61st, Glaize of the 67th, Jones of the 60th, Dawson of the 65th, and others A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT To fix the salary of the sheriff of Fulton County; to provide f or related matters; to repeal1 conflicting laws; and for other purposes.2 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:3 SECTION 1.4 Notwithstanding any other local Acts to the contrary, the sheriff of Fulton County shall be5 paid an annual salary in an amount not to exceed $260,000.00, t o be paid in equal6 installments from the funds of Fulton County.7 SECTION 2.8 All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.9 H.
