25 LC 47 3512 House Bill 825 By: Representative Washburn of the 144th A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT To amend an Act to reconstitute the Board of Education of Monro e County, Georgia,1 approved February 25, 1993 (Ga. L. 1993, p. 3857), as amended, so as to change the2 compensation of the members and the chairperson of such board; to provide for an effective3 date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.4 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:5 SECTION 1.6 An Act to reconstitute the Board of Education of Monroe County, Georgia, approved7 February 25, 1993 (Ga. L. 1993, p. 3857), as amended, is amended by revising Section 6 as8 follows:9 "SECTION 6.10 Members and the chairperson of the Board of Education of Monroe County, Georgia, shall11 be compensated in the amount of $600.00 per month. Members and the chairperson of the12 board shall also be reimbursed for actual expenses necessarily incurred."13 H. B. 825 - 1 - 25 LC 47 3512 SECTION 2.14 This Act shall become effective on the first day of the month following the month in which15 it is approved by the Governor or in which it becomes law without such approval.16 SECTION 3.17 All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.18 H.
