25 LC 129 0406 House Resolution 799 By: Representatives Carter of the 93rd, Bennett of the 94th, and Stinson of the 150th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Terry Walker Moore; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, March is celebrated as Women's History Month, a time to honor and recognize2 the invaluable contributions of women throughout history and ac ross all fields and trades;3 and4 WHEREAS, Terry Walker Moore's contributions to the community reflect the core values5 of Women's History Month; and6 WHEREAS, a woman of faith and a devoted wife, mother, godmother , grandmother, and7 mentor to many, Terry is dedicated to inspiring others to findi ng their purpose and living8 happy prosperous, holy, and righteous lives; and9 WHEREAS, she is widely recognized for her leadership and unwavering commitment to the10 Boys and Girls Clubs community for 24 years; and11 WHEREAS, she is a recipient of numerous honors, including the C.A.R.E. Award from the12 Boys and Girls Club of Metro Atlanta, the Maytag Dependable Leader Award from Boys and13 H. R. 799 - 1 - 25 LC 129 0406 Girls Clubs of America, and the 2020 Paul Harris Fellow recognition from the Rotary Club14 of Rockdale; and15 WHEREAS, her leadership reaches the broader community, where sh e is a dedicated16 advocate for youth development and people who are in need of opportunity; and17 WHEREAS, a hardworking and passionate leader, Terry remains com mitted to guiding18 future generations toward their full potential while sharing the good news of the Gospel; and19 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstandi ng contributions of this20 remarkable woman are recognized during Women's History Month.21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that22 the members of this body recognize and commend Terry Walker Moore for her unwavering23 dedication to service and extend sincere best wishes for her continued health, happiness, and24 success.25 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized26 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Terry27 Walker Moore.28 H.
