25 LC 129 0389 House Resolution 765 By: Representatives Moore of the 91st, Taylor of the 92nd, and Carter of the 93rd A RESOLUTION Commending Oluwasore Edward, Rockdale County High School's Clas s of 20251 valedictorian; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, a proper quality education for the young people of this state is the single most3 important objective of the General Assembly; and4 WHEREAS, Oluwasore Edward has shown by academic accomplishment that the pursuit and5 attainment of scholastic success are within the reach of the students in this state; and6 WHEREAS, this remarkable senior has earned distinction through her notable achievements7 as a student at Rockdale County High School where she is a memb er of the beta club, the8 color guard, the national honor society, G.I.F.T.S, the national art honor society, and RCA9 ambassadors; and10 WHEREAS, she has been selected as valedictorian by earning exemplary grades in the most11 challenging academic courses while maintaining a substantial ex tracurricular schedule12 throughout her academic career; and13 H. R. 765 - 1 - 25 LC 129 0389 WHEREAS, this achievement is the culmination of Oluwasore Edwar d's hard work and14 determination, and she deserves much credit for her energy and dedication to academic15 excellence; and 16 WHEREAS, she is an outstanding representative of the young people of this state and it is17 only fitting and proper that she be recognized for her many accomplishments.18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that19 the members of this body heartily commend Oluwasore Edward for her spectacular scholastic20 endeavors and express their most sincere best wishes for continued success.21 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized22 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to23 Oluwasore Edward.24 H.
