25 LC 112 3514 House Resolution 762 By: Representatives Williamson of the 112th, Efstration of the 104th, Jones of the 47th, Gaines of the 120th, and Wiedower of the 121st A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending the Atlanta Apartment Association upon its 50th anniversary;1 and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, the Atlanta Apartment Association has proudly served t he State of Georgia3 since 1975, representing housing providers and professionals in the multifamily housing4 industry; and5 WHEREAS, the Association has played a crucial role in ensuring that quality housing6 remains accessible to all Georgians, providing a vital resource for individuals and families7 across the state; and8 WHEREAS, the Association has continually supported efforts to i mprove the housing9 industry, from promoting best practices and professional develo pment to advocating for10 policies that strengthen their communities and the state's economy, driving job creation, and11 enhancing the quality of life for millions of Georgians; and12 WHEREAS, the Association has made a lasting impact in fostering safe, affordable, and13 high-quality housing for the residents of Georgia, and it conti nues to lead efforts in the14 housing industry with innovation and integrity; and15 H. R. 762 - 1 - 25 LC 112 3514 WHEREAS, the members of the Association have contributed more than 140 million meals16 to the Atlanta Community Food Bank through its decades-long phi lanthropic partnership,17 representing one of the nation's largest annual food drives of its kind; and18 WHEREAS, the 50th anniversary of the Atlanta Apartment Associat ion provides an19 opportunity to celebrate the Association's success, acknowledge the invaluable contributions20 of its members, and recognize their commitment to building and supporting vibrant21 communities throughout the State of Georgia.22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that23 the members of this body recognize and commend the Atlanta Apartment Association upon24 the grand occasion of its 50th anniversary for its many exemplary contributions on behalf of25 the citizens of this state as well as extend best wishes for continued success.26 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized27 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the28 Atlanta Apartment Association.29 H.
