25 LC 129 0258 House Resolution 789 By: Representatives Dempsey of the 13th, Lumsden of the 12th, and Barton of the 5th A RESOLUTION Commending Mrs. Emily Mowery, Armuchee High School's 2025 STAR Teacher; and for1 other purposes.2 WHEREAS, a proper quality education for the young people of this state is the single most3 important objective of the General Assembly; and4 WHEREAS, Mrs. Emily Mowery has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for5 the vital role that she has played in the teaching profession a nd her deep personal6 commitment to the education of the students of Georgia; and7 WHEREAS, Mrs. Emily Mowery has earned distinction for teaching excellence and has been8 honored as Armuchee High School's 2025 STAR Teacher; and9 WHEREAS, in recognition of her contributions to the education and welfare of young people10 in this state, it is abundantly fitting and proper for this bod y to honor the extraordinary11 accomplishments and academic achievements of this outstanding educator.12 H. R. 789 - 1 - 25 LC 129 0258 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that13 the members of this body commend Mrs. Emily Mowery, Armuchee Hi gh School's 202514 STAR Teacher, and express their most sincere best wishes for continued success.15 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized16 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Mrs.17 Emily Mowery.18 H.
