25 LC 129 0390 House Resolution 771 By: Representatives Moore of the 91st, Taylor of the 92nd, and Carter of the 93rd A RESOLUTION Commending David Hill, Rockdale County High School's Class of 2 025 salutatorian; and1 for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, a proper quality education for the young people of this state is the single most3 important objective of the General Assembly; and4 WHEREAS, David Hill has shown by academic accomplishment that t he pursuit and5 attainment of scholastic success are within the reach of the students in this state; and6 WHEREAS, this remarkable senior has earned distinction through his notable achievements7 as a student at Rockdale County High School where he is a member of the marching band,8 the national honor society, and the technology student association; and9 WHEREAS, he has been selected as salutatorian by earning exemplary grades in the most10 challenging academic courses while maintaining a substantial ex tracurricular schedule11 throughout his academic career; and12 H. R. 771 - 1 - 25 LC 129 0390 WHEREAS, this achievement is the culmination of David Hill's ha rd work and13 determination, and he deserves much credit for his energy and d edication to academic14 excellence; and 15 WHEREAS, he is an outstanding representative of the young peopl e of this state and it is16 only fitting and proper that he be recognized for his many accomplishments.17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that18 the members of this body heartily commend David Hill for his sp ectacular scholastic19 endeavors and express their most sincere best wishes for continued success.20 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized21 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to David22 Hill.23 H.
